JOB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for a script writer to handle content creation for Japanese-style visual novels!
We’re looking to establish a long-term relationship with writers and will generally have work constantly available if we consider you are a good fit.
REQUIREMENTS

・Native level English speaker with strong understanding and knowledge on culture, modern colloquialisms and tonal nuances of English speaking countries (Mainly US/UK).
・Strong understanding on English grammar
・Experience of playing interactive drama contents
・Ability to be able to write stories that can provide our users multiple developments of stories by their choices (Creating options that users can choose while they play contents)
・Strong interest and understanding on Japanese sub cultures such as anime and visual novels
・Over 18 years old

EN-DE translator (CONTRACT, OFF-SITE)

JOB DESCRIPTION

The main duty is to translate our scenarios written in English to German. Translation will be of both male-oriented “bishoujo” and female-oriented “otome” games.

Translations are usually within the range of 40,000 - 50,000 English words

Turn around times is generally 3 weeks per assignment

Translations will be provided in the form of an Excel table and you would be adding the German translations next to the original English for easy comparison

In-game artwork and plot documents can be provided for reference if necessary
Compensation

Starting rate is $0.01 per English word
REQUIREMENTS

・Native German speaker
・Strong ability to read and comprehend English
・Experience of playing and knowledge of interactive drama contents or Japanese otome/bishojo game contents.
・Passion on producing media contents such as movies and anime and an interest in reading scripts.
・Strong interest and understanding on Japanese sub cultures such as anime and visual novels
・Over 18 years old
